macOS 11.0 Big Sur will NOT run 32-bit apps. You can check whether any of the apps you are currently using on your Mac are 32-bit.
How to use macOS to identify 32-bit apps:
Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your Mac screen.
- Choose "About This Mac"
- Click on "System Report..."
- Next click on Software > Applications
- Verify the apps you regularly use are listed as 64-bit application in the last column on the right. You could sort by that column to make it easier to see at a glance.
- Check the 'Obtained from' in that column. If a 64-bit app is from an 'Identified Developer', 'Mac App Store' or 'Apple' then there should be no issues, but if it says 'Unknown' you may experience issues.
