    Director of Equal Opportunity & Title IX

    Belinda M. Guthrie has twenty years of progressive leadership experience in higher education developing campus wide programs for the prevention, investigation, and response to issues of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and bias incidents/hate crimes involving students, faculty and staff, ADA/Section 504 compliance, university governance and policy development, and responding to students at risk. Belinda joined Santa Clara University in 2014 as the University’s first full-time EEO and Title IX Coordinator.

  • Jenna Recupero

    Title IX Investigator

    Jenna Recupero joined the Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX in August 2015. Jenna has a variety of experiences in the field of Gender & Sexual Misconduct including serving as a Title IX Intake officer and Investigator for University of San Francisco for the past six years. She got her start at Loyola Marymount University where she earned her BA in Animation and then transitioned to University of San Francisco where she earned her MA in Organization and Leadership from the School of Education.

  • Lucy Amirkhanian

    Administrative Assistant

    Lucy Amirkhanian joined Santa Clara University in Oct 2015 and is the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX. She graduated from school in London, United Kingdom and went on to work for various corporate organizations in the Administrative field, including Shell Oil & Gas and Randstad Staffing Agency. After nearly ten years of working in London, Lucy decided it was time for a change of scenery (and weather) and relocated to San Jose in 2014. Lucy is extremely motivated to be working with a department which plays such a vital role in helping create and maintain a welcoming, supportive, equitable, and safe environment for every member of the SCU campus community.
