As a part of the annual macro budget process, new funding requests are solicited from the vice presidents’ and general counsel’s offices. These requests are reviewed and considered in the context of how they support the University’s progress toward achieving the goals outlined in the most recent strategic plan found in Strategic Initiatives from the Office of the Provost. Decisions about new funding requests are communicated in February after the Board of Trustees approves the consolidated budget.
