The New Funding Request Process is an annual process for requesting new and incremental funding for the upcoming fiscal year. In conjunction with the macro budget planning process, the new funding request process is initiated by the University Budget Office. The University Budget Office works directly with the President, Provost, Vice Presidents, and General Counsel for disseminating and gathering of all proposed new funding requests. Each organization identifies funding needs that are essential to strengthening critical programs or services that advance in a significant way the goals of the University's Strategic Plan. Proposed new funding requests are reviewed directly with the President for final approval. Subsequently, all approved new funding requests are incorporated into the operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
