Program Coordinator for Alcohol and other Drugs

Kelly Schumacher earned her Masters of Public Administration and B.S. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has also completed a graduate certification in the study of Developing Healthy Communities through the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University as well as a health coach certification through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Her professional background has focused on AOD and substance abuse prevention as well as creating and implementing holistic health and wellness campus initiatives for students. 

Kelly previously worked in the Counseling, Health, and Wellness Department at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts where she focused on health and wellness education. She has come to SCU with the hopes of creating a holistic programming model which focuses on supporting all dimensions of student health and wellness.

Program Coordinator for Violence Prevention

Tiger Simpson earned his M.S. in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Central Missouri, along with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in English from the University of North Dakota. His professional background has focused on violence prevention, mental health education, and substance abuse prevention with expertise in public health models, holistic health education, survivor focused policy development, and student engagement. 

Tiger previously worked in Oregon at the University of Portland where he specialized in health and wellness education. He has come to the University of Santa Clara with hopes of creating positive, sustainable change on campus by empowering community members to take an active stance in promoting wellness and ending violence.
