Happy Nurses Week! In honor of National Nurses Week, which starts May 6, we celebrate nurses and all first responders. Sonia Suri ’13 is one of the courageous workers on the frontlines. Until recently, she was a nurse focusing exclusively on mother-baby care. Now she spends some of her days in the ICU. Sonia says it’s easy to become disillusioned; the only way to push forward is through optimism. Read her story »

Two Campus Leaders Step Down
We bid farewell to two prominent members of our campus community. Caryn Beck-Dudley will step down as the dean of the Leavey School of Business to accept an appointment as President and CEO of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business in June. In May, Dorian Llywelyn, S.J., will depart SCU to accept the role of president of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at the University of Southern California.
