Heroes Among Us

Happy Nurses Week! In honor of National Nurses Week, which starts May 6, we celebrate nurses and all first responders. Sonia Suri ’13 is one of the courageous workers on the frontlines. Until recently, she was a nurse focusing exclusively on mother-baby care. Now she spends some of her days in the ICU. Sonia says it’s easy to become disillusioned; the only way to push forward is through optimism. Read her story »

Are you or a Bronco you know working on the coronavirus frontlines? Share your story and help us celebrate the brave and giving alumni among us.

Where is Hope?

As we enter another month of pandemic, Alumni Jesuit liaison Art Liebscher, S.J. ’69 reflects on the importance of hope in our collective road to recovery. “The virtue of hope, exactly like faith, comes to us as a gift,” he notes. “For us, hope lies in realizing that we have the wherewithal to build a future for ourselves, our communities, and our world.”
