Dear Colleagues —
The end of the academic year is a time of anticipation, reflection... and dance parties! Here in the Career Center, whenever a student lands an internship or job, we stop what we are doing and celebrate with a 30-second dance party!
So, put your dancing shoes on and watch this video on Instagram to celebrate Jasmine Santacruz '26 who secured an Entertainment Operations internship with the San Francisco 49ers!

And congratulations to the hundreds of students who have been offered summer internships at companies including Amazon, Apple, Bellarmine College Preparatory, City of San Jose, Enterprise Mobility, EY, Gallo Winery, U.S. House of Representatives, Keeley Construction, Makai Ocean Engineering, Morgan Stanley, NVIDIA, SF Bay Bird Observatory, SCC Public Defender's Office, Tesla, TNT Sports, Unicage, Vanir Construction Management, Inc., ZScaler, and many, many more!

As always, I look forward to working together to deliver on the promise of higher education for all of our students: a good job, social capital, and economic mobility in pursuit of a more humane, just and sustainable world.

'Career Clarity Retreat' Receives Honorable Mention from National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)
The Career Center is thrilled to announce that the 'Career Clarity Retreat' has received the Career Services Excellence Award – Large College Honorable Mention from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

This signature, two-day retreat is a collaborative effort between the Career Center, Campus Ministry, and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). It provides undergraduate students with a holistic experience that intertwines career development, mental health support, and spiritual reflection. The program aims to address career anxiety, enhance resilience, and assist students in aligning their personal values with their professional aspirations. The retreat exemplifies Santa Clara University's commitment to nurturing the whole person and preparing students not just for a career, but for a life of purpose and meaning.
Congratulations to Vania Tong and Myriam Bartz (Career Center), Victor Lemus (Campus Ministry), and Bich Nguyen-Hamilton (CAPS) for your unwavering dedication and compassionate support of our students!
