Call to Action Maryland Virtual Black History Month Celebration
In partnership with Baltimore’s Racial Justice Circle, Call to Action Maryland is proud to present a virtual Black History Month presentation on Saturday, February 12, featuring Dr. Shannen Dee Williams. Dr. Williams’s two-part presentation (morning and afternoon) will address the untold stories of Black Catholic nuns in the long struggle for freedom and the history behind the Catholic Church’s role in slavery in the United States. Catholic Health Association of the United States, 2022 Theology and Ethics Colloquium, "Reflecting on the Common Good"
The Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA) is offering scholarships to the 2022 Theology and Ethics Colloquium, "Refelcting on the Common Good" held on March 15-17, 2022 in St. Louis, MO for those interested in Catholic health care ministry.
Scholarships will include complimentary program registration, round trip coach airfare to and from St. Louis, and hotel accommodations for two evenings. Deadline to apply is Monday, February 14, 2022. The link to the application can be found here. Four Dreams Jesuit Film Contest
Lights, camera, action! The year 2021 marks 500 years since Ignatius of Loyola began his journey of discovery. To commemorate this milestone anniversary in Jesuit history, the Society of Jesus has launched the Four Dreams Jesuit Film Contest. All films must be submitted by May 1, 2022.
