JST News
All JST students, staff and faculty are invited to join the synodal process at JST by participating in the listening session next Wednesday, March 16, from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
Pope Francis has invited the entire body of Christ to engage in listening sessions "For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission." This is an opportunity for the JST community to participate in the Universal Synod. See this link for more information on the Synod.
The listening session at JST will be held as small group conversations of no more than five people in each group. You can choose to attend either in-person in the JST Manresa Room, or online via Zoom, and there will be a facilitator accompanying each group. The time will be a chance for us to deeply listen to one another, for the sake of and in service to the Church. Themes of the conversations will be reported anonymously back to the Diocese of Oakland.
Please RSVP by Monday, March 14 at this link, so we can plan for rooms and supplies.
