This comedy about a family living in the backwaters of 19th Century pre-revolutionary Imperial Russia has proven to be one of the most enduring plays ever seen throughout the world. It has been translated into many languages and presented in many countries in a variety of ways. Our production uses a recent adaptation/translation by David Mamet, one of America's foremost and prominent modern playwrights.
