The Spring Aetna Advantage Dental Insurance Plan is now available for ALL students to purchase regardless of your health insurance enrollment. The deadline for enrollment into the plan is January 31, 2012.

Santa Clara University has instituted a MANDATORY health insurance requirement for:

All International Students holding an F1 Visa (this includes undergraduate, graduate, law and JST students)
INCOMING WINTER UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS:
All Undergraduate Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the on-line waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored Kaiser HMO plan and your student account will be charged $1,282.00 for the winter/spring/summer insurance policy.

INCOMING WINTER F1 VISA GRADUATE STUDENTS:
Incoming F1 VISA International Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the on-line waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored Kaiser HMO plan and your student account will be charged $1455.00 for the winter/spring/summer insurance policy.

For all Domestic Graduate Students, and those on a VISA OTHER THAN F-1, enrollment into the University's sponsored insurance plan is VOLUNTARY. To enroll into the 2011/2012 Kaiser HMO insurance plan, CLICK HERE.
INCOMING SPRING LAW STUDENTS:

The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored Kaiser HMO plan and your student account will be charged $1204.00 for the Spring/Summer insurance policy.
