Santa Clara University has instituted a MANDATORY health insurance requirement for:
All Undergraduate Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the 2009-2010 waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored plan and your student account will be charged $1398.00 for the annual insurance policy. GRAD STUDENTS: F1 VISA International Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the 2009-2010 waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored plan and your student account will be charged $1931.00 for the annual insurance policy. LAW STUDENTS: F1 VISA International Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the 2009-2010 on-line waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored plan and your student account will be charged $1661.00 for the annual insurance policy.
