Health Insurance 2008-2009
Santa Clara University has instituted a MANDATORY health insurance requirement for:
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: All Undergraduate Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the 2008-2009 on-line waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. If you do not submit an acceptable waiver, you will be automatically enrolled in the University sponsored plan and your student account will be charged for the annual policy. GRAD STUDENTS: F1 VISA International Students must either enroll in the University sponsored insurance plan or show proof of your own health insurance plan by completing the 2008-2009 on-line waiver form by the deadline date. The waiver will be accepted if the student’s insurance is comparable to the University sponsored plan. For all other Grad Students enrollment into University's sponsored insurance plan is voluntary. DENTAL PLAN New this year is an optional dental plan for ALL students whether or not you are enrolled in the SCU sponsored plan. More details coming soon!
