Docent-led Tours at the de Saisset Museum

The de Saisset Museum offers two types of docent-led tours for the community: California History and Explore with Me.

California History Tours are for the Museum’s California History exhibition, the Santa Clara Mission church, and Mission gardens. These tours are led by volunteer docents and are intended primarily for fourth-grade school groups, although other school groups and adult groups are welcome. Tours are scheduled Tuesday-Friday at 10:00 a.m., and advance reservations are required. For more information about procedures for the de Saisset Museum's California History Tours, click here.

Explore with Me Tours are for the de Saisset Museum’s temporary exhibitions. These interactive tours are led by Santa Clara University students and are provided to community groups and school groups. Explore with Me Tours can be scheduled at your convenience, but advance reservations are required.

All de Saisset Museum tours are free (although donations are welcome!).
