Brother Mark Mahoney’s dynamic paintings of the human figure explore the potential of body and spirit. These works reflect the artist’s lifelong commitment to spirituality. Mahoney is a brother at the New Camoldoli Hermitage in Big Sur, CA. This exhibition will include a sampling of his recent paintings, in addition to work in other media.
Brother Mark Mahoney was educated at Hayward State University (B.A.) and the San Francisco Art Institute. He lives and works at the New Camoldoli Hermitage in Big Sur, California.
