Santa Clara University: Hon. Eugene Hyman and Santa Clara County Superior Court Honored for Public Service by the United Nations
SANTA CLARA, CA - June 19, 2008. Santa Clara University School of Law adjunct professor, Eugene Hyman ’77, and the State of California Superior Court for the County of Santa Clara will be honored with the 2008 United Nations Public Service Awardat a ceremony on June 23 in New York City. Hyman and the court are being recognized in the category of ‘Improving transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in the Public Service’ for ‘Juvenile Delinquency Domestic Violence and Family Violence Court.’

Barry Posner, Dean at Santa Clara University's
Leavey School of Business to step down
SANTA CLARA, CA – May 15, 2008. Barry Z. Posner, Dean of Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, has announced he will step down as dean at the end of the 2008-09 academic year. Posner has served as dean since 1997. After a year-long sabbatical, Posner will return to SCU as a professor of leadership.
