April News
Happy Spring Quarter - we have no jokes to play on you today! This academic year is going so fast. We are so excited to have another quarter full of Intramural Sports leagues & tournaments we will for sure bypass our record number of participants last year & hope to break 4,100 after this academic year. The fitness class schedule brings you 7 classes. One class will begin Wednesday of week two as we are still busy hiring Kate as a new instructor. All classes are free & are first come first serve in the Multi-purpose Room at the Malley Center. Club Sports are wrapping up their seasons and we are sending many to Nationals this and next week. We wish them the best as they compete to be the best on the nation - Go Broncos!

| Congratulations on completing your coursework for graduation! Since you will not be enrolled for classes during the Spring Quarter, you will need to register as a Winter Quarter Grad member to continue having access to the Malley Center, Sullivan Aquatics Center, Fitness classes, and Intramural Sports. The Winter Quarter Grad membership is $80 (a huge discount on our alumni memberships). To sign up you will stop by the Malley Center Front Desk during business hours and we accept cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard for payment. For more information email campusrec@scu.edu.
Even if you are working on campus for this next quarter you do not qualify you for a free membership. If your employer would like to cover the cost of your Winter Quarter Grad Membership please have your supervisor reach out to Kelly Frumkin, kfrumkin@scu.edu, directly with the student employees name and ID number, and budget string to charge the membership to. |

Rosters have been updated and we had 683 student-athletes participating in the program this past Winter Quarter with a GPA average of 3.410. Pretty impressive! | During National Student Employee Appreciation Week, April 7 - 13, we would like to thank our over 180 student employees that help us run the Campus Recreation program. The four full-time staff employees could not have such a successful program without their hard work and dedication. We have 14 student coordinators who assist us behind the scenes, and then facilities employees (front desk, weight room, and lifeguards), intramural sports supervisors, and officials, Bellomy Field Supervisors (who work all home club sport games), and fitness instructors. |
| There have been lots of changes happening at the Cowell Center- students now have access to the free headspace app, and there is a 24/7 phone line. Please their website for all of this and many more services available to you. |
