We hope that you are all enjoying a good summer. It is so nice to have another summer listening to campers in the facility - it is a little louder than just the bouncing of basketballs, but it does cut out the grinding of the old concrete on the pool deck. Summer does not slow down for us as we prepare for the fall and six (6) new club sports teams. See below for information on our summer hours, projects, limited courts & the new club sports teams.

| The Malley Center will be closed Saturday, July 1 - Tuesday, July 4 for the 4th of July holiday. We will reopen Wednesday, July 5 at 6:30 a.m.
The pool is currently closed for the major deck repair and is scheduled to reopen sometime after Friday, August 4th. More details to come in the August News. |

Monday - Thursday 6:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday: 6:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Sullivan Aquatic Center
The pool will be closed from Friday, June 16 - Friday, August 4. We are hoping to be able to have limited hours after the deck repair project is complete. Please check our website for updates on the deck repair project and updated hours as of August 5. |
| This summer we have a few projects:
- The Pool Deck will be repaired and we will be able to remove the black mats. The pool will be closed from Friday, June 16 - Friday, August 4. (We hope to be open after the 4th pending no delays in the project and our ability to staff the pool).
- We will be updating emergency vehicle access this Summer, time is still TBD looking like early August. This project will impact the grass areas as well as intermittent access to the Malley Center front doors. More details to come so stay tuned.

| Come stop by the Malley Center court 3, Friday July 7, 12 - 2 p.m. to learn and play pickleball!
In addition, some faculty and staff have asked us for a night to play pickleball this summer and we have reserved court 3 Wednesdays 5 - 6 p.m. for you to come out and meet other faculty and staff and play pickleball. |
| Regular access to the Malley Center for undergraduate and graduate students has ended as of June 19. SCU students who are enrolled in summer classes will have uninterrupted access to the Malley Center and Sullivan Aquatic Center during the Summer Session they are enrolled in classes.
During the summer session, continuing students not registered for summer classes must purchase a summer membership to gain access. Visit our membership page for further information about membership types and rates. There are a variety of options based on the dates that you are in the Santa Clara area and would like access to the facility. |
| Limited Courts this Summer:
All Courts impacted with Bronco Kids All Sports Camp July 31 - August 4 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. & 1 - 4 p.m. (courts will be open for recreational use before 8 a.m., 12 - 1 p.m. and after 4 p.m.)
Courts 2 & 3 impacted with Bronco Kids All Sports Camp July 10 - 14, July 17 - 21, and July 24 - 28 (court 1 open for recreational use all day, and all courts before 8 a.m., 12 - 1 p.m. and after 4 p.m.)
Court 1 impacted with SES camp July 10 - 12, July 17 - 19, and July 24 - 26 5 - 6 p.m. & Court 3 will have Faculty/Staff pickleball 5 - 6 p.m. Wednesdays these nights so only court 2 will be open for recreational use |
| We still have LOCKERS for rent - we have lockers in all locker rooms & all lockers are half-size lockers. Each locker room has two locker room spaces one for general use, and one with a code for faculty/staff. The front desk can give all faculty/staff the code.
The annual fee will be pro-rated to $25 (starting the first day of summer: Monday, June 20) and lockers expire the Sunday before the first day of the fall quarter. See the Malley Center Front Desk Staff to get your locker. |
| On Wednesday, June 14 we notified six (6) teams that they are being accepted as new club sports teams for the 23-24 academic year. Please be patient as we update our website with their teams and contacts, and create their webpages. We will have all their information up by September 1 (if not sooner).
The new teams are:

Men's and Women's Club Soccer
Club Golf
Club Tennis
Bowling

| The Bronco Kids All Sports Camp is the only Santa Clara University summer camp. This is a 6-week day camp. The camp is open to campers 6 - 12 years of age, or Counselors In Training 13 - 17 years of age. This is a great summer camp to introduce your child/children to a variety of sports that keep them active throughout their lifetime. Spots are limited and camp hours are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. (with after-care available Monday - Thursday 4 - 6 p.m.).
