COMMENCEMENT PROCESSION
The Commencement Procession consists of a continually moving 0.75 mile walk through the heart of campus. Graduates and their guests will remain together the entire procession, with the exception of the stage crossing. In front of the Mission Church, graduates will cross the ‘stage’ as their name is read aloud, receive their diploma cover, and have professional photos taken. Guests of the graduate will have a clear and up-close view of their graduate crossing the stage. The professional photographer will email proofs to each graduate within one week of the event.
All family and friends are invited to watch the Commencement live-stream on the Commencement Website.
On June 11, the SCU Campus will be open only to those who have a valid ticket and are wristbanded. There are no areas on campus for non-ticketed guests to gather. Each time slot will have a designated colored wristband (given to each guest after scanning their ticket) which will grant them access to campus during their time slot. After completing the procession, all graduates and guests will be guided off campus.
COMMENCEMENT CHECK-IN
You are confirmed to participate in the ___ p.m. Commencement Procession. Entry gates will open at ___ p.m.
In order to be admitted, graduates and their guests must arrive together with a valid Guest Ticket or Grad Pass. Groups that arrive together process together. If you plan to process with your cohort/friends, all graduates and guests must arrive at the same time. As a reminder, only graduates and their pre-registered guests with valid tickets will be allowed on the procession route.
- Guest Tickets each have their own unique QR code and are required for guest entry. Only one scan per ticket will be allowed. Duplicate scans of the same QR code will not be permitted.
- Grad Pass is each graduate’s ticket which has a unique QR code and is required for entry. Each Grad Pass will be scanned before graduates cross the stage in order for their name to be read aloud.
We recommend printing your Grad Pass and Guest Tickets to expedite the check-in process. Graduates, you will need to log in to MarchingOrder to print your GradPass and email your pre-registered guests their Guest Tickets.
