In June, we celebrated this very significant accomplishment for the Class of 2021.
Undergraduates will have the opportunity to participate in one of three Optional In-Person Celebrations at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., or 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 11. Participating graduates in academic attire will have their name read, receive their diploma cover, and have their picture taken during these celebrations.
Graduates are required to wear masks and engage in social distancing as directed by health protocols. Each graduate attending the in-person celebration can invite two guests to join them in the procession. Advance registration for all attendees—graduates and guests—is required.
Registered graduates have received an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with instructions on registering up to two guests for the in-person celebration.
Guests from out of state or abroad will be required to be fully vaccinated and must show proof of vaccination when checking in on-site, complying with state and SCU requirements. Students and guests traveling from within the state of California, including those already on campus, must complete SCU’s Daily Symptom Checker on the day of the event. Please note that California’s Travel Advisory strongly discourages out-of-state travelers from coming into the state unless fully vaccinated.

All members of the graduate schools’ Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 are invited to join an in-person, socially distanced procession across campus. Graduates will be robed in academic attire, have their names read as they cross a stage, receive their diploma covers, and have their photo taken by a professional photographer.
We are pleased to share that each member of SCU’s graduate schools’ Class of 2020 or Class of 2021 will have the opportunity to have two guests at the Friday, June 11 in-person celebration. Graduates will be joined by their guests for the procession during their school's respective time slot listed above.
