Director of Spiritual Diversity
The Director for Spiritual Diversity (DSD) is a full-time, 12-month position at Santa Clara University that reports to the Director of the Center for Spirituality and Faith to nurture the spiritual life of the campus community. The role focuses on creating multi-faith, interfaith, and community-building programs while developing engaging spiritual growth opportunities for religiously unaffiliated students through the tools of Ignatian Spirituality. Additionally, the DSD collaborates closely with internal campus partners like the Ignatian Formation team, builds key relationships with external faith organizations, and manages a team of graduate assistants and student interns to execute these initiatives.
Academic Department Manager
The Academic Department Manager in Military Science is a 10-month (September–June), 30-hour-per-week position within Santa Clara University’s College of Arts and Sciences, eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Reporting to the Office of the Dean while directly supporting the Military Science Chair and military/civilian ROTC staff, the Manager handles administrative, operational, financial, and facility management for a department serving ROTC students across SCU, SJSU, UC Santa Cruz, and Stanford. Operating with high autonomy, the position manages budgets, events, communications, and student advising using platforms like DOD systems and Workday (HRIS, Finance, and Student). Additionally, the Manager resolves complex issues, collaborates with key campus partners, and serves as a primary liaison to students, parents, alumni, and external stakeholders.
Research Computing Engineer
Serving as the primary technical partner between Santa Clara University’s research community and its computational infrastructure, the Research Computing Engineer acts as the strategic anchor for the university's High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment. This self-directed role focuses on user engagement—partnering with faculty, researchers, and students to translate complex computational workflows into scalable technical solutions. Beyond routine infrastructure maintenance, the position provides strategic leadership, engineers robust processes, and drives long-term planning to ensure the HPC ecosystem proactively evolves alongside SCU's expanding research mission.
