Congratulations! We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments at Santa Clara University’s Graduate Commencement on Saturday, June 11, 2022.

Please review the information below detailing registration and important deadlines for the Class of 2022 Graduate Commencement.

GRADUATE COMMENCEMENT - 4:30 PM - JUNE 11, 2022

The 2022 Commencement format consists of a .75-mile festive walking procession through Santa Clara University’s campus. Your Commencement Procession will begin at 4:30 p.m.

• Each graduate may bring four (4) pre-registered guests to their Commencement procession. All guest tickets will be scanned and verified before entry. 
• Class of 2022 graduates, dressed in academic attire, will have their name read aloud, receive their diploma cover, and have their photo taken by a professional photographer as they cross the ‘stage’ in front of the historic Mission Church.
• The Commencement stage crossing will be livestreamed for all to view and the link will be posted on the Commencement website.
• Purchase your academic attire by May 19, 2022.

COMMENCEMENT REGISTRATION via MARCHING ORDER

Later today, you will receive an email from commencement@scu.edu granting you access to the Commencement registration system, Marching Order.

• On Thursday, April 7 via Marching Order, you can set a password, register yourself for Commencement, review the phonetic pronunciation of your name and register up to four (4) guests. You will need to enter the guest’s name and email address.
• Each graduate is guaranteed four (4) guest tickets. If you need to edit your guests names or emails at any time, you may resubmit the form before June 10.
• Those that arrive together, process together! When arriving for your Commencement Procession, graduates will cross the stage in the order they arrive, so if you plan to process with your departmental friends, all graduates and guests must arrive at the same time.

MARCHING ORDER GUEST TICKETS AND GRAD PASS

Once you have registered yourself and your guests, you will have the ability to email your guests their tickets and access your Grad Pass.

• Guest Tickets each have their own unique QR code. Only one scan per ticket will be allowed. Duplicate scans of the same QR code will not be permitted
• We are only able to offer four (4) guest tickets per graduate. If you need additional tickets, we recommend checking with other graduates to see if they have tickets they will not be using.
• Grad Passes also have a unique QR code. Your Grad Pass will be scanned before you cross the stage in order for your name to be read aloud.

CAMPUS LITURGY- JUNE 10, 2022 

Graduates and their families are invited to participate in a student-planned Liturgy on Friday, June 10 at 5:00 p.m. in the Mission Gardens.

• April 7 - Look for an email from Marching Order to begin Commencement Registration
• May 16 - Deadline to Edit/Provide Phonetic Pronunciation
• May 19 - Deadline to Order Academic Attire
• June 10 - Deadline to Register and Modify Guest Tickets
