Dear Colleagues — It's official: The Career Center is now located on the 2nd floor of the Paul L. Locatelli, SJ Student Activity Center! (View campus map.) We are excited to begin transforming this big, beautiful space into a dynamic career hub for students, employers and our campus community. YOU'RE INVITED!Pizza Party & Office Blessing
(Our Pizza Party will kick off a full afternoon of ribbon cuttings and open houses to celebrate several other new spaces debuting this fall quarter. Thank you to the many individuals who have worked (and are continuing to work tirelessly) on this and many other capital projects across campus, with special gratitude to Sri Lanka, Corey Valine, Jeanette Coran, Jenny Brown, Brent Izutsu, Toad Hendricks, Phil Erskine, Teri Escobar, Nancy Lewis, Tony Pehanich, Sean Collins, Ed Ryan, Korin Wheeler, and the entire Tech Desk and Facilities teams. Thank you also to the Career Center staff for your patience and flexibility and for rolling up your sleeves to pack and unpack the office! This has truly been a team effort! In addition to the Pizza Party, the Career Center will be hosting our annual Welcome Weekend Open House for new students and families on Friday, September 18 from 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m. As always, I look forward to working together to deliver on the promise of higher education for all of our students: a good job, social capital, and economic mobility in pursuit of a more humane, just and sustainable world.

The visits were part of the 2026 Vietnam Tech Summit organized by VietSpark, and were open to all students.
Two students who went shared pictures and reflections on LinkedIn: "As someone with a background in Finance & Analytics, I went into the [Meta] visit curious about what happens behind the products billions of people use every day. I left with a new perspective on AI, technology and the future of work. ...
