AMP Promo Codes Available
For events requiring 50 or more parking uses, departments may request an AMP promo code to manage parking for attendees.
Below are the terms and conditions that are also on our Event Request Form. Terms and Conditions
The Event Request Form must be requested by an individual with signature authority over departmental funds.
Payment must be received in full prior to promo code activation. Promo codes are valid per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).
Departments must assume financial responsibility for all promo codes requested in a given fiscal year. Any remaining balances will not be rolled over to the next fiscal year.
Accurate estimations and any activity associated with the assigned code is the responsibility of the requesting department.
Promo codes are valid per zone, e.g., 100 uses may be split between two lot locations (zones), if needed.
No adjustments will be made after payment is secured.
P&TS will provide a report of active promo code usage the first of every month of the previous month.
Promo code renewals must be received by P&TS at least 5 business days in advance prior to the expiration of a promo code.
Departments are responsible for providing their guests with clear instructions on redeeming promo codes and directing customers where to park.
P&TS is not responsible for any inaccurate instructions or incorrect promo codes provided by the respective department.
If your department is interested in setting up a promo code(s) or has questions about the process, please reach out, and we’d be happy to assist.
Please visit the AMP Park link for more information on how to redeem a promo code.
Resident Gate Clicker Return Policy & Tips
Resident Gate Clicker Return Policy & Tips
Return gate clickers on the last day of finals week every year. A $50 fee will be added to customer accounts for unreturned gate clickers. Please return gate clickers prior to this yearly deadline to avoid this late fee being automatically applied to your account. Thank you!
To ensure your gate clicker works properly, please follow these tips:
Press and hold the button on the clicker for 1–2 seconds to ensure the gate receives the signal.
If the gate does not respond the first time, remove the clicker from your car and try again.
Press the button multiple times if needed.
If the red light on the clicker does not turn on, the battery may be dead. Please visit the Parking and Transportation Services Office for assistance.
Positioning Tips:
When entering the property, the clicker will work even if your vehicle is positioned in the middle lane.
When exiting, drive as close to the gate as safely possible to ensure the sensor receives the signal.
Oversized Vehicles
Oversized Vehicles
If you have an oversized vehicle, please avoid parking in the smaller surface parking stalls marked as “compact” throughout campus. Any vehicles obstructing (front/back/sides) stalls or aisles are subject to a parking citation:
SV Hopper has officially expanded its service area farther north, giving Santa Clara University students, faculty, and staff access to even more destinations.
With this expansion, riders can now use SV Hopper to travel to places such as Mission College, Santa Clara Square, and even the Great America Transit Station, which serves VTA light rail, Amtrak, and ACE Rail. We hope these additional connections make the service even more useful for commuting, errands, and accessing transit.
