Webinar - Ethics in the Social Studies Classroom
This webinar will provide an overview of leadership ethics, bioethics, internet ethics, and journalism ethics, how to teach ethical thinking, and how to integrate ethics education into the middle school social studies curriculum.
Yael Kidron, Ph.D. is the Director of Character Education at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. The Character Education Program provides workshops, summer institutes, resource guides, and lesson plans for teaching ethics in formal and nonformal education settings. Kidron oversees the development of resources for educators, administrators, and parents interested in fostering the social skills, values, and well-being of young people from early childhood through emerging adulthood.
