International Education Week

International Education Week (IEW) is an annual holiday designated by the U.S. Departments of Education and State to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

IEW at SCU kicked off last week with Global Engagement’s IEW Festival. Groups from across campus came together to showcase the ways that they contribute to a global Bronco community, through cultural foods, unique course topics, education abroad programs, and more.

There are many opportunities to engage with IEW programming this week: 

• November 13: Job Search Strategies and Create Your Elevator Pitch! for International Students
• November 14: Culture Performance for Students, Faculty, and Staff
• November 15: Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship for Study Abroad Info Session for Students
• November 16: Travel Signature Party for International Students

Can’t make it to an in-person event? You can participate in IEW from home by submitting global recipes and music to our Flavors Around the World Digital Cookbook and IEW 2023 Spotify Playlist.
