The Jesuit Advancement Administrators (JAA) of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) is a professional organization of advancement professionals serving Jesuit higher education in the United States. Founded by Rev. J. Barry McGannon, S.J. at Saint Louis University in 1990, JAA became an official organization on June 21, 1991. JAA serves as a resource for professional development; provides an opportunity to share best practices in the industry; and acts as a network for the advancement of Jesuit higher education.

 

Providing quality professional development and networking opportunities within a Jesuit context has long been a key priority for JAA. Each year, advancement professionals from Jesuit institutions of higher education gather to collaborate, study trends, and learn from one another. The annual conference provides an excellent occasion for members to discuss how their institutions’ Jesuit, Catholic mission makes them distinctive, attractive and vital. This year, Santa Clara University and Loyola Marymount University are hosting the conference at Santa Clara University on July 20 - 22, 2025.
