- JST's student journal New Horizons is seeking academic papers, pastoral reflections, and art from graduate students on themes of violence and peace. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and are due by May 31, 2022, to be published in August 2022. Please find the full Call for Papers here and email newhorizonsjst@scu.edu with any questions.

The Summer Spiritual Direction Program of the Jesuit Community of Berkeley is offering a spiritual direction/retreat to people in the Berkeley area from June 22 - July 15, 2022. The goals of spiritual direction (or the at‑home retreat) are to develop ways to pay attention to God and to explore the different movements of your prayer life with a spiritual director and with the Bible confidentiality. If you are interested in receiving spiritual direction as part of this at-home retreat, please email Anne Zehren, azehren@scu.edu, with the follwing information: Name, Phone number, Email, Approximate age, Hopes and desires for the retreat.
