What's Happening This Week at JST
REMINDERS: Fall 2023 Registration & Workday Onboarding
All current students (except those graduating/leaving in May) received an email from Jim Oberhausen last week about Student Onboarding in Workday. Please remember to complete this action this week (so you don’t have to do it during Spring Break!). The email included instructions for completing your Onboarding in Workday.
Workday is a new system, so if you need help, we are hosting two help desk opportunities. Bring your laptop to Manresa Lounge on either Monday (3/20) or Tuesday (3/21) from 9:30 to 11:30 am. If you can’t come to one of these help desk times, you can see Mack Griffith, Mey Saechao, or Jim Oberhausen anytime for help.
Fall 2023 Registration Monday, April 3
Remember to meet with your advisor sometime this week to plan your fall courses.
You won’t be able to register if you haven’t done the Onboarding first. Try to register for at least one course on April 3. We will have another “Help Desk” in the Loyola Board Room (3rd floor) on Tuesday, April 4, from 10 am til Noon, and from 1:00-3:00 pm to help you with registration difficulties.

The Installed Catechist Webinars - The National Association for Lay Ministry
Pope Francis’ decision to establish the instituted ministry of catechist offers an extraordinary opportunity to recognize, affirm, and support the formation of catechetical leaders and other lay leaders called to serve the church’s mission of evangelization.

Exhibit: Visualizing Place — Maps from The Bancroft Library
March - June 2023 | More Details
Visualizing Place: Maps from The Bancroft Library highlights the Library’s diverse and extensive map holdings. Selected from across Bancroft’s collections, these works chart the evolution of cartography from the early printed atlas born during the period of European contact to contemporary maps displaying cultural, social, and imaginary narratives—from those that show California as an island to those that help us examine a place, be it a city, a region, or a nation. Whether printed, hand-drawn, or digitally produced, maps help us understand our own neighborhoods, our broader region, and our global environment. There is no right way to look at a place in time, but, together, these map selections allow us to visualize the familiar through a different lens.
