The administration and faculty bargaining team had a productive second bargaining session today.
During the meeting, the parties continued discussion on proposals related to issues of labor-management relations and contract administration, including subjects such as recognition of the union, collection of dues, anti-discrimination policies, union rights, and grievance policies. The administration provided written responses to the proposals, accepting some and offering suggestions on others.
We look forward to another productive bargaining session on February 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The Provost’s Office will continue to provide up-to-date information regarding efforts to reach a mutually agreeable contract on our bargaining website.
