The Auxiliary Services division provides the Santa Clara University community with key elements of campus life. The Auxiliaries: Housing, Dining Services, the Campus Bookstore, the ACCESS Card, Vending, Conference Services, and the Adobe Lodge all offer unique services helping Santa Clara University to fulfill its educational mission and to provide a comfortable community atmosphere for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to enjoy. Auxiliary Services also provides services including Off Campus Housing, Vending, and Contracts.
Auxiliary Departments & Services
Below are brief descriptions of each auxiliary department and service.
The Housing Office, located in Benson Memorial Center, upper level room 212, is responsible for undergraduate and graduate student housing on campus. The Housing Office welcomes new and returning students offering housing applications and assignments. Throughout the year the Housing Office dialogues with the resident community and provides residence hall facility maintenance and renewal. For more information about housing, please click here.
Dining Services is responsible for all on-campus dining and catering. Benson Memorial Center dining locations include Market Square, Mission Bakery Cafe, and The Bronco. The Cellar Market, located on the lower level of Benson Memorial Center, is our on-campus convenience grocery store. The Sunstream Cafe is located at the entrance to the Learning Commons, Technology Center, and Library and the Cadence Cyber Cafe is located in the lobby of Lucas Hall. Located in the Benson Memorial Center complex directly across from the Shapell Lounge, the Campus Bookstore provides text books, other class materials and supplies and features SCU logo merchandise and clothes, general books and gifts. The Bookstore Annex, for textbook returns, online textboook order pick-up, and selling back textbooks, is located on the lower level of the Benson Memorial Center. ACCESS Card Office
The ACCESS Card Office, located on the main level of the Benson Memorial Center, Room 106, issues Santa Clara University's campus ID card and manages all facets of the ACCESS Card Program including the Resident Dining and Dining Plus Plans and Flex Account debit functions, facility access control, and the Off-Campus Merchant Program. Conference Services accepts reservations and coordinates all residential summer conference and youth camp programs. Conference Services is located in the Benson Memorial Center, Room 200 throughout the academic year and operates from Casa Italiana residence hall during the summer conference season from mid-June through late August. The Adobe Lodge offers the faculty and staff of the Santa Clara University community with a beautiful setting to socialize, enjoy lunch, hold campus events, and conduct business meetings thus fostering and enriching campus collegial life. Off Campus HousingThe University contracts with RealSource Property Management to manage University owned properties off campus. Auxiliary Services oversees all food and beverage vending machine services on campus.
Auxiliary Services negotiates and manages University contracts with outside vendors providing campus products and service including those requiring exclusive provisions.
