Mandatory Academic Advising
Academic advising is mandatory every spring quarter for all students who intend to register for the upcoming fall quarter. The Registrar’s Office places a registration hold on all students’ records. The students are required to meet with their assigned advisers to have the holds removed.
Students are required to bring a copy of their degree audit to the advising meeting. Students can print a copy of their degree audit by following the instructions below:
In ECampus, go to “Student Center” and click on “Degree Progress” located under Academic History. Select Santa Clara University from the drop down menu and choose “Degree Audit” under report type, then click “Go”. A copy of your degree audit will be created.
To accommodate all Accounting and Accounting & Information Systems majors, the Accounting department has scheduled two group advising sessions in spring 2012:
May 1st 2012, Tuesday – 3:30 – 5:00 PM – Lucas 126
May 2nd 2012, Wednesday – 3:30 – 5:00 PM – Lucas 126
During the advising sessions, Professor Susan Parker, chair of the Accounting Department, summarized the information that students should know and understand as undergraduate Accounting and Accounting & Information Systems majors. The information has been presented to sophomores and juniors at the advising sessions.
