Each year, the National Association of the State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) publishes its annual Candidate Performance on the Uniform CPA Examination, which lists the pass rates for all universities.

CPA exam candidates from Santa Clara University continue to perform well on the CPA exam.

In 2009, 31% of our students who took all four parts of the CPA exam passed everything. Among our students who took at least one of the four exams, 62% passed one or more of the exams. For the individual sections, 51% of SCU candidates passed the Financial Reporting (FAR) exam, 57% passed the Auditing (AUD) section of the exam, 46% passed the Tax and Business Law Regulation (REG) exam, and 49% passed the Business Environment and Concepts (BEC) exam.
