Yuanyuan Deng is a lecturer at UC Berkeley, Department of Economics and an Adjunct Professor at University of San Francisco (USF). Yuanyuan received her PhD in Economics from the State University of New York-Stony Brook in 2016. Before joining UC Berkeley and USF, she held positions at the World Bank, University of New South Wales, Sydney, and Singapore Management University.

 

Yuanyuan teaches the Chinese Economy, Health Economics, Microeconomics, and Global Poverty and Impact Evaluation. She is an applied microeconomist with broad empirical interests focusing on Health Economics, Public Economics, and Labor Economics. Her research has been supported by the Michigan Retirement and Disability Research Center (MRDRC) and the Center for Retirement Research (CRR) at Boston College. She has publications in Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Econometrics.
