Subhashini MuthukrishnanLecturer in Economics
 Dr. Subhashini Muthukrishnan is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. She teaches Microeconomics, International Economics and Macroeconomics. Her current research is in the areas of environmental economics and health economics. Her research focuses on the welfare effects of economic instruments like taxes and subsidies, quality differentiation (environmental and health care quality) and consumer choice and the role of alternative medicine in India. Dr. Muthukrishnan has published in the journal of Transport Policy. She received the Leavey School of Business Professional Development Award for Outstanding Teaching in 2008-2009. Dr. Muthukrishnan has a PhD in Economics from the National University of Singapore. She is currently pursuing her MBA at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. September 2010 |
