Executive MBA—when speed is essential



Tailored to meet your needs as an experienced manager, this substantive, pragmatic degree is the first AACSB-accredited Executive MBA program from a Silicon Valley university. The program is nationally ranked 19th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report (2008 Best Graduate Schools Guide).

Who is qualified?
Eligibility for the Executive MBA program is strict and highly specific:

  • 10+ years work experience
  • a record of accomplishment in management with a focus on cross-functional management issues
  • sufficient academic aptitude to profit from an accelerated curriculum

How long will it take?
The entire curriculum has been designed to deliver a real MBA education in the shortest possible timeframe.

Executive MBA classes meet Friday afternoons, 12:30 - 6:30 PM, and

Saturdays, 8:30 - 2:30 PM, approximately every other week. The Wednesday of that week is set aside as a virtual study group, with faculty on call to meet with students on campus or electronically.

A new cohort of 35 Executive MBA students begins each August and the program is completed in just 17 months.

How much does it cost?
Tuition for the Class of 2009, beginning in August 2008, is $90,000, and is all inclusive (among other items provided: books, materials, meals, parking, and two residential weekend costs as well as Global Experience, but not airfare).

When do I start?
Each cohort begins in August, with a residential weekend establishing the foundation for leadership studies.

When do I need to apply?

  • Class of 2009 : Courses begin August 2008
  • Application deadline : Executive MBA applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Acceptance to the program may be communicated as early as two weeks after the applicants's file is complete.
