Assistant Professor, Biochemistry

Regarding Part time Positions:


The Department of Chemistry at Santa Clara University, a Catholic Jesuit university with an ACS-approved undergraduate program, from time-to-time has openings for quarterly part-time instructors to teach lecture and/or laboratory courses. 

Qualifications:
M.S. or M.A. in chemistry (Ph.D desirable) is the minimum requirement, and some openings require the Ph.D. 

Rank and Salary:
Variable, with the current per course minima being $3,300 (laboratory), $5,500 (lecture), $8,800 (lecture/laboratory).

Interested applicants should submit a curriculum vitae,
a cover letter explaining interest, qualifications and availability for this type of position, along with contact information for three references.  These submissions will be kept on file for two years unless a request is made to dispose of them earlier; they may be updated at any time. 

Deadlines for submissions each academic year will be August 1 for Fall Quarter, November 1 for Winter Quarter, February 1 for Spring Quarter, and March 1 for Summer Session, unless earlier dates are provided in the specific job postings.  Openings will be posted on the top portion of this page when the actual departmental teaching needs are known.
