Note Regarding Part time Positions:
The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Santa Clara University, a Catholic Jesuit university with an ACS-approved undergraduate program, has openings from time-to-time for quarterly part-time instructors to teach lecture and/or laboratory courses.
The academic qualification for our quarterly positions is an M.S. or M.A. in chemistry or biochemistry at a minimum and in some cases the Ph.D. in chemistry or biochemistry. Appointments carry salaries that are variable, with the current per course minima being $3,300 (laboratory), $5,500 (lecture), $8,800 (lecture/laboratory).
The availability and nature of the positions will be posted on a regular basis on this website and that of SCU Human Relations. A posting will typically appear approximately two months before the start of the quarter in which the appointment is to occur. Details of the application procedure will be contained in the posting.
