The Department of Modern Languages’ Chinese instructors, Yujie Ge and Hsin-hung (Sean) Yeh hosted a very successful and intimate event showcasing Chinese tea culture to enrich our students' language and culture learning experiences. Chinese tea culture is a combination of tea and the spirit of the tea ceremony, which is characterized by harmony, peace, happiness, and truthfulness. The act of tea-drinking involves various stages, including preparation, brewing, serving, tasting, and artistic expressions. During this event, students immerse themselves in tasting various tea flavors, while exploring the rich tea culture and engaging in paper cutting art craft.
