Wind Ensemble

The Wind Ensemble (formerly Concert Band) is offered for the study and practice of the most respected traditional and contemporary wind band repertoire. Open to all graduate and undergraduate students by audition, the band performs every quarter, and is under the direction of Anthony Rivera.

Membership in Wind Ensemble fulfills the ensemble requirement for music majors and minors.

Audition information:

Winds, Brass, and String Bass:
1 or 2 prepared pieces from the etude, solo/concerto, or ensemble repertoire that displays your best lyrical and technical playing.

Percussion:
2 prepared pieces from the etude, solo/concerto, or ensemble repertoire. You may choose to play snare drum, timpani, and/or mallets (vibraphone, marimba, or glockenspiel).
