Chad Walsh has over 15 years of experience working in the field of technology as both an engineer and intellectual property attorney. Mr. Walsh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law.

Mr. Walsh started his career at National Semiconductor Corporation designing analog circuits and systems for high speed video applications and low noise and low distortion audio applications. Later, Mr. Walsh entered the field of intellectual property and managed the patent and intellectual property portfolio for National Semiconductor’s Analog Division.

Mr. Walsh is the founder and CEO of Fountainhead Law Group, P.C. based in Santa Clara, California. Fountainhead Law provides patent and intellectual property services to technology companies in Silicon Valley and around the world. Mr. Walsh has particular expertise in representing technology clients on patent and intellectual property matters in the Analog and Mixed Signal technology field.

Mr. Walsh is also dedicated to public servant. In addition to working with the SCU Center for Analog Design and Research, he works with a wide variety of public and non-profit organizations. In 2008, Mr. Walsh was elected to the Governing Board of Trustees for West Valley-Mission Community College District.
