Reminder - Joint Mass on ImmigrationThursday, Jan. 20, 2011Reminder – Immigration MassLast week I sent a message to all of you inviting you to attend a special joint Mass with the theme, "The Jesuit Family Welcomes the Stranger." The Mass will be held on February 5 at 2 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Church in San Jose, followed by a reception. At the Mass, members and friends of the various Jesuit institutions will listen to immigrant speakers, to learn, and to re-dedicate ourselves, through prayer and advocacy, to comprehensive and just immigration reform. Immigration reform is an issue that affects us all - in education, in our faith communities and in our workplace. I hope you consider my invitation to attend the liturgy and celebrate with our many members and friends. 1/20/11
