Fletcher Jones Foundation Grant AwardedMonday, Mar. 21, 2011Fletcher Jones Foundation GrantCongratulations to the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering for receiving a $500,000 grant from the Fletcher Jones Foundation for equipment in support of the Advanced Biosciences Initiative (ABI). This equipment award will advance in-depth research in the bioscience and bioengineering fields, provide students with research experience and technical instrumentation skills, and build important alliances with regional industry partners. My thanks to the team who prepared the proposal and supported the grant process.
