Inclusive Dharma?: The Gift of Western Female Dharma Teachers

Lecture

Last Spring, Religious Studies major Jennifer Savage ('13) presented at the International Association of Buddhist University's Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. Her paper, "Dharma in Action: The Gift of Western Female Dharma Teachers," was her first academic presentation and publication as an undergraduate student. Jennifer found the experience to be exciting, enriching, and inspiring. She will share some of her photos and experiences of a Western student's perspective on an ancient and deeply Buddhist culture. Come hear how one Religious Studies major turned her undergraduate learning into an extraordinary experience of insight and travel.
