Hello, OMATTC Students! Congratulations on completing the first half of quarter one in the OMATTC Program! This newsletter was created to provide you with program-specific updates and information. Please be sure to open it and read it weekly.

Reminders:
- Register for the CSET examination if you have not already met subject matter competency. OMATTC Fall 2023 admits must meet subject matter competency by January 2, 2024. If you have not met subject matter competency by this date, then you risk delaying your program.
- Be sure to respond to advisors to meet one-on-one if you have not already done so.
- Check for and remove holds on your account from Workday before Winter registration (October 30 to November 3).
- Check your class schedule on November 1 to confirm you have been enrolled in the appropriate courses for the Winter 2024 quarter. Student Services will enroll OMATTC students by October 30.
- Complete the Residency Student Survey by Friday, October 20 to help us learn more about your experiences and improve the residency program.

Disability Awareness Month
National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) is an annual awareness effort that is held each October. The annual commemoration raises awareness about disability employment issues, and celebrates the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities. This year, it celebrates its 50th anniversary. Santa Clara University will host, “Superfest Disability Film Festival Screening” from October 19 to October 21.
