Application/Modification and Documentation Review Timeframe
All submitted application materials including documentation as well as modification request to current accommodations will be reviewed within 7-14 business days from submission date.
During the Registration period, OAE received high volume requests for priority registration. Please keep in mind, similar to other academic accommodations, priority registration at SCU is considered under the scope of access. If approved as an accommodation, priority registration will apply to the subsequent registration term (spring 2020 registration for fall 2020).
The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) formerly Disabilities Resources has been designated by the University to ensure access for all students with disabilities to all academic programs and University resources. Our goal is to support the college student with a disability to participate fully in campus life, its programs, and activities. We emphasize growth and individual achievement. We address this goal through the provision of academic accommodations, support services, and auxiliary aids.
OAE provides appointment-based individualized support for currently registered students and prospective OAE students currently enrolled at SCU. To meet with an advisor, please contact our office at 408-554-4109 or by coming in-person to Benson 1 to schedule an appointment.
Students and visitors are welcome to drop-in to the office, but appointments are highly recommended. Drop-in hours are on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 15 minutes. Please note the posted drop-in hours are contingent upon the availability of OAE staff and apply only to the current term beginning the second (2nd) week of the term.
