Crime Reporting

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses.

It is the policy of Santa Clara University to inform the campus community in a timely manner of any potential threat to the health, safety, or security of any or all persons on campus. The Director of Campus Safety Services is responsible for gathering, recording, and disseminating such information and for decisions regarding the content, time, and manner of distribution. Depending on the circumstances, the Director of Campus Safety Services may request the assistance of various University departments and/or administrators in carrying out this responsibility. Campus statistics on crime reports can be viewed on the website. The Clery Daily Crime Log is kept at the Campus Safety Office and may be viewed by any person at any time.

More information on crime reporting can be found on campus safety website.
