👋🏽 Transfer Student Welcome & Tour
The Transfer Student Union (TSU) is a student-led club for transfer students at SCU. TSU is eager to welcome you to campus and help answer any questions you may have during their session from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 19, at Benson Memorial Center, Parlors B/C. Stop by and meet other students who have been in your shoes!
📦 New Student Move-In: September 18
Can you believe it's finally here? New Student Move-In is next week! If you’ll be living on campus, you should have received an email from the Housing Office last week at your SCU email address with everything you need to successfully move into your new home away from home! The email includes a lot of great information, so be sure to check it out as you get ready for move-in!
One of the most important pieces of that email was your arrival time and when you can begin arriving at your assigned checkpoint. That information is listed below, but you can also find more details on the Housing Undergraduate Move-In webpage.
- LAST NAMES A-G: Students whose last name begins with A - G must arrive at their assigned campus checkpoint at 8:30 AM
- LAST NAMES H-O: Students whose last name begins with H - O must arrive at their assigned campus checkpoint at 10:00 AM
- LAST NAMES P-Z: Students whose last name begins with P - Z must arrive at their assigned campus checkpoint at 11:30 AM
🗓️ Students Approved for Early Arrival
Some students are eligible to move into their residence hall before the standard move-in day on September 18. If you were granted Early Arrival, your specific move-in time was included in the email sent by the Housing Office last week.
Dining Locations Open for Students with Early Arrival
You may use your dining plan to pay for meals as soon as you check in during the move-in process. Our campus dining partners also accept digital payments, so guests are more than welcome to make purchases on campus as well.

From resource fairs and social activities to meet other students, to receptions showcasing the great food our campus has to offer, there's something for the whole family. Your family is encouraged to stay and enjoy the festivities, but we completely understand if they need to head out after helping you move in!
