In order for hourly staff, and student employees to be paid on time on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, their timesheets for the pay period ending on November 15, 2023, must be approved by 12:00 PM today, Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Announcing the 2024 limits for Flexible Spending Accounts
The IRS recently released the 2024 maximum contribution limits for the Medical FSA and Mass Transit FSA. You must re-enroll in FSA benefits each year during Open Enrollment.
- 2024 Health Care FSA contribution limits (including limited purpose FSAs):
- 2024: $3,200 per year
- 2023: $3,050 per year
- 2024 Health Care FSA carryover – if applicable to your plan design
- 2024: $640 per year
- 2023: $610 per year
- 2024 Commuter Benefits contribution limits
- 2024: $315 per month
- 2023: $300 per month
- There is no change to the Dependent Care limit of $5,000.
2024 Retirement Plan Contribution Limits increase by $500
Below are the 2024 Annual Maximum Retirement Contribution Limits. To make changes to your retirement plan, visit your SCU retirement portal at www.netbenefits.com/scu.
- 403(b) (Employee Contribution) Maximum Annual Limits:

- 2023: $22,500
- 403(b) Catch-up Contribution (50 yrs+) remains at $7,500 ($30,500 total for 2024

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Student Life, the AVP will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the effective provision of high-quality health and psychological services to students that reduce barriers to learning and create opportunities for greater academic achievement and student success. Together with unit leaders, the AVP will strengthen, expand, and leverage existing programs to create and foster a safe, healthy, and supportive campus environment.
This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the University’s student account receivables and collections efforts, while promoting and supporting a highly collaborative and engaged service-oriented culture. Responsible for adhering to, and maintaining accuracy in reporting and compliance with federal and state regulations, including Title IV aid and refunding, IRS 1098T and 1042-S filings, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and state escheatment processes. Implement and maintain policies and procedures related to student financial services. Ensure that all customers receive the highest levels of customer service.
The Head of Instruction & Assessment leads Santa Clara University Library’s information literacy program and assessment activities, including envisioning goals, setting priorities, and directing implementation. Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Learning & Engagement, this role directly supervises a team of three in the Instruction & Assessment department, and coordinates the work of teaching and assessment staff across the library to advance program level information literacy and assessment priorities. This role also monitors the professional landscape for emerging areas of instruction and assessment focus and engages library staff and related stakeholders in discussions around how to respond to those trends or opportunities.
