Immeasurable and Lasting Impact

I began working in the Ignatian Center nearly ten years ago with the Immersions program, excited for the opportunity to form the next generation of leaders in a broader worldview. As I take the reins on my role as Interim Executive Director, I reflect back on all the students who have had the opportunity to experience immersions and other formative programs with the Ignatian Center during this past decade. Our recent Immersions Alumni Survey revealed the lasting impact of the program on individuals -- individuals like Yajaira Morales-Vidovich ‘11. 

“Every experience, encounter, and person at SCU will change you in one way or another,” states Yahjaira. “Some will be forever and some will be momentarily. However, immersion trips change you in ways that cannot be measured with time.”
