 | This month, we are excited to introduce our 4 full-time staff and our 13 student coordinators who work behind the scenes to help run the Campus Recreation Program.
Janice DeMonsi: Director of Recreation - Manages all of Campus Recreation with the Assistant Directors, oversees weight room equipment, pool operations, lifeguards, and the fitness program
Austin Hunt: Assistant Director for Intramurals and Camp - Oversees all intramural leagues, tournaments, and our six-week summer camp
Kathryn Hutchings: Assistant Director for Club Sports - Manages Bellomy Field and track, and works with all of our 21 club sport teams
Kelly Frumkin: Assistant Director for Membership and Operations - Oversees the Malley Center along with the student staff who help us keep the building open 113.5 hours a week, memberships, and operations
Matthew: Aquatics, Human Resources, and Emergency Response Student Coordinator - Manages the Sullivan Aquatic Center and the lifeguard staff
Marta: Budget Student Coordinator - Handles front desk deposits and tracks wages and expenses to keep us on budget
Kaya, Kayla, Norah, and Ryan C.: Club Sports Student Coordinators - Manages all of the club sport rosters and travel forms, and also helps with paying invoices and reimbursing the student-athletes
Cassie, Kayleigh, and Ryan R.: Facility Operations Student Coordinators - Assists with front desk operations, guest pass sales, memberships, and supervising staff areas
George and Harper: Intramurals and Camp Student Coordinators - Manages all the IM student staff, leagues, and tournaments, and assists with setting up the summer camp
Danica and Molly: Marketing Student Coordinators - Creates content for our website and social media (follow us on Instagram SCU Campus Rec), and designs various fliers and t-shirts for the program. |

During our closure and outside of our business hours ALL our outdoor facilities will still be open to current students, faculty, and staff (sorry no spouses or guests are allowed at our outdoor facilities). Our outdoor facilities include the Outdoor Fitness area, Degheri Tennis Center, Beach Volleyball Courts, Outdoor Basketball Court (lined for pickleball), Bellomy Field, and the Bellomy Track. We will reopen on Monday, December 1 with academic hours. |
 | Annually November 1 marks the reduction of our pool hours through the colder months. Our Winter Hours are as followed:
Monday - Friday: 7 - 9 a.m., noon - 2 p.m., & 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday: Noon - 5 p.m.
Regular academic hours will resume the first Monday of the spring quarter. If we have a heat wave we will adjust hours as able to add more leisure and lap times back between 2 - 5 p.m. Except finals week. |
 | Congratulations to our Dodgeball Tournament Champions, Better 1/2, for being our first IM Tournament Champions of the academic year!
We have two IM Tournaments left for the Fall Quarter! Registration for Chess (Friday, November 7) is open until 3:30 p.m. day of the event and registration for Ultimate Frisbee (Friday, November 14) is open until Friday, November 14 at 3:30 p.m. All students, faculty, and staff are eligible to play in the tournaments!

 | Malley Center Tour and Campus Recreation Information SessionsWant to learn more about Campus Recreation? Not quite sure where to start? Join us for a quick tour of the Malley Center and time for Q&A about everything that Campus Recreation has to offer! Two sessions will be offered this month: Wednesday, November 5 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday, November 11 from 2 - 3 p.m.! No sign up needed - meet in the Malley Center Lobby! |
 | The Sullivan Aquatic Center will be CLOSED for water polo home games and tournaments. Below are the dates the Pool will be close and will reopen in November.

 | We are excited to have 22 fitness classes on the schedule this quarter. All classes meet in the Malley Center Multipurpose Room and are FREE! Classes are first-come first-serve, no sign ups needed. Most classes have 40 spots, except for cycling, which has 11, and barre, which has 20. |

 | The Malley Center and Sullivan Aquatic Center welcome members to sponsor guest/s to join them for use of these two recreation facilities. We have three pass options - either a one-day visit or multiple visit (two or ten visit) passes are available. There is an $10 per guest per visit per day fee.
All guest passes are non-refundable. Please see the Malley Center Front Desk to purchase a guest pass. We accept cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard for payment of all guest passes. |
 | Faculty & Staff Wellness Expo Stop by our table at the annual Faculty and Staff Wellness Expo on Thursday, November 6 at Locatelli from 10:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. We are happy to answer all of your questions about the facilities, spouse memberships, guest passes, faculty and staff sport groups, etc.. This is event is part of Human Resources Mission to Wellness program. For more information, visit their website. |
 | Come meet other Faculty & Staff and practice communal & physical wellness! All groups welcome newcomers and are happy to teach their sport. This is a fun way to meet new people that also work on campus. Stop by and play!
