Jennifer Lynn Woolley is an Assistant Professor of Management at Santa Clara University, where her research focuses on the emergence of firms, industries, and organizational communities around the world. She is currently investigating the creation of the nanotechnology community.

Dr. Woolley's research has been published in Advances in International Management Research Series, and has presented her work at Academy of Management and Strategic Management Society gatherings. In addition, she was presented at the Atlanta Conference on Science and Technology Policy, and the NanoDistrict workshop in Pierre Mendes University, Grenoble, France.

Among the awards she has received are the Booz-Allen Hamilton/Strategic Management Society PhD Fellowship Award, the Ray Watson Doctoral Fellowship, a Kauffman Foundation Fellowship, and the Regents Fellowship at UCI.

She earned her doctorate at University of California, Irvine. Before returning to academia, Professor Woolley worked as a financial consultant and analyst with Ericsson Wireless, Ashley Kumar & Company, and Westhold Corporation.
