The SCU Concert Choir is a 50-80 voice mixed ensemble that sings a wide variety of a cappella and accompanied secular and sacred choral music from every period in music history through the present day.  The Choir focuses on a comprehensive survey of choral literature through performance as well as development of choral tone, blend, diction, and sight singing skills. The Concert Choir performs at each of the three annual choral concerts at the Santa Clara Mission.  Participation in Concert Choir fulfills the College of Arts and Science's fine arts requirement in addition to the music minor/major ensemble requirement.

The 2006 Festival of Lights Holiday Concert

Hear audio excerpts from an evening of holiday favorites performed by the Chamber Singers and Concert Choir this past December. Selections include sophisticated arrangements of Deck the Halls and Jingle Bells, as well as traditional Hanukkah music, high spirited Spanish carols, lively audience caroling, and the choir's annual candle-lit performance of Silent Night. In order to respect copyright law, some selections are limited in length.
